When
I Traveled to Dahab – 800KM away from my home city – I wanted
to see if I can really survive all by myself or not.
Most important step in my opinion when living in a far place is to make new friends
that I could rely on and they could rely on me.
Too bad for me my social skills at that time really sucked, I have no clue
how to approach strangers or how to make a good conversation.
Long story short I found it easier for me to make strangers approach me
instead.
Each time I host a new traveler I hear a new adventure.
I learn then even I can do things, I couldn't even think its possible.
Here are just some examples:
- A couple hitch-hiking everywhere they go, even in Egyptian deserted roads!
- An 18 years old traveling all over Egypt all by her self.
- Many other travelers who told me about – and showed me pictures – of their amazing trips and how they could live without spending much.
You know what they say, if an 18 year old girl can do it so can I!
I decided to visit Asia because it has many countries that i can afford staying in because the difference in culture is really huge.
but which country in Asia? I didn't know which one to pick first.
After lot of thinking I decided to do it on random! I used Skyscanner[Thanks Gavin for telling me about it] I searched for flights to anywhere anytime in January.
Malaysia was first in the list but I couldn't book a ticket to there because my visa was not "verified by visa" (what the hell is that?).
Nepal was next on the list so I booked the tickets even before I know what attractions are in Nepal or why would I want to go there.
That I figured it out later after my ticket was booked on 22nd of Jan 2014
