hours before traveling … not sure what to take and what to leave.
By the time I finished I realized how geek am I, the weight of electronic devices I brought is more than 65% of the total weight! Some of these things I will probably never need but I cant help it.
Beside the alternative is filling my bag with more dull cloths … yaak

I woke up early today so I am sure by 4am I will be like a real drunk, have a bad feeling about this.
I did the checkin online to reduce the time of talking to employees.

4 am: plane is moving slowly still cant believe I am leaving. Always think something will happen and I’ll just go back.
4.05 am: now its moving really fast so exciting as it takes off. Now I can finally stop worrying, not look back
5.11 am: Moving toward sunrise rather than waiting for it to come is f…in amazing

Love the free wifi at Dubai airport and the comfortable chairs .. I could use some sleep at last.

Time difference is a bit confusing as I’ve never experienced it before
Almost the only foreigner in the Nepalese plane. Security stare at my ticket for long time then ask me Kathmandu? As if they don’t believe it.
First thing I realize when standing in a queue: I am really tall.

2.50pm Cairo time and yet I can see the sun setting already.
Few hours ago we were making the sun rise quickly and now we make set.
Its like moving fast forward in time

When u reach ktm airport u’ll find many blue labels each holding a small tip about Nepal like providing wine as gift to gods or being famous with hymalia mountains but the one that really stuck says ‘things take time in Nepal so chill down and enjoy it’.

Just like Egypt u can wait until the employee responsible for your baggage to arrive.
But the positive side is that they didn’t really bother checking my bags for customs

Just like Egypt there are taxi by the airport, i didn’t negotiate I knew the price i wanted to pay and refused to pay one rupee more
Most didn’t like my price but finally one driver agreed.
First surprise: the driving wheel to the right, first time to see that in my life.

Paying him was a bit difficult it took me time to figure out what rupee is 500 and what is a 1000
