Visiting the temple Shanti Stupa

Nature in Pokhara is very pretty, the lake, the trees, the camels, hold on camels? WTF? this gotta be joke right?
Yea, they have it here as well but I didn’t really encounter many.

Women like to wash their cloths in the lakes – flash back to the dirty Nile river –
although to be fair Nile is far much cleaner than this lake

You will see cows hanging around everyone, this is really strange.
Its a big gap between a culture that has a yearly cow killing festival to a culture that criminalize killing cows.

After settling in in Travelinn I met a nice Girl at the hotel’s restaurant.
she also happened to have Nepali friends.
It was really fun seeing everything with a company and having Nepali friends helped a lot.
Here we are taking turns rowing, heading to a temple in the middle of the lake

temples are usually built on top of mountains so that Buddha can see at the whole city from the top

We ring the bells before prayer to awaken the gods to hear our prayers

We finally reach the temple

And ending the post with this nice view

I know you wanted to see the temple but too bad I am lazy to full fill your wishes.
Give google images a try though
